1. On the Officials home page are the Blocks. The blocks allow you to block days you cannot work (Calendar), Teams you do not want to officiate, Sites you do not want to work at, Zip codes you do not want to travel to (Postal Codes), and other officials you do not want to work with (Partners).
You may block as many days as you want, up to 2 teams, sites and other officials, and up to 3 postal codes. Make sure you keep you Calendar blocks up to date throughout the season. This will help Ty to assign games more effectively with less turn backs.
Click the “Calendar” link to display the Calendar block page.

2. On the Calendar block page, you can block entire days or block only a portion of a day, or clear existing blocks. For those of you who use The Arbiter for other associations, note that you can do blocks for all of your Arbiter groups at the same time, or individually by selecting the appropriate check boxes on the left hand side.
Initially, the page starts in the View Schedule mode. To block an entire day, click the Block All Day action. Then either click on a date in the Calendar, or fill in the Date Range information and click Apply.

Select fewer teams and click the Save button again. If you have not exceeded the number of block teams, the page will refresh with your blocked teams at the top with the cell where the check box is highlighted in yellow.
You may only block 2 teams. This means that you will not be able to block Varsity, JV and Frosh/Soph for a school as each of these are considered a team. You need only block the teams at the level you typically work. For example, if you typically work Varsity games, you would block only Lakewood Varsity and Millikan Varsity if you do not want to work either of those schools.
When you have saved your team blocks, click the Exit button to return to the Officials home page.

2. The Game Schedule page lists the games you have already accepted, and the games awaiting your acceptance. For each game, click either the Accept checkbox or the Decline checkbox.
Note that the position you have been assigned and the date by which you must either accept or decline the assignment is displayed along with other information about the game.

3. When you click the Submit button, the page will refresh and show your game schedule. To return to the Officials home page, click the Exit button.
Once you have accepted a game there is no way to turn back the game on-line. To turn back a game you must contact Ty directly. If you send Ty an e-mail to turn back a game, it is your responsibility to confirm that Ty has received the e-mail. This can be done by either Ty replying to your e-mail notifying you that he will re-assign the game, or by calling Ty and getting a verbal confirmation. Remember, it is your responsibility. Any missed game assignments resulting from a turn back will result in a fine, and disqualify you from play-off assignments.

4. After accepting or declining all of your games, the Schedule link on the Official home page will return to normal.
